From the very first moments holding the baby, many couples can’t help bursting into tears of happiness. Because after a long and challenging journey, they finally have their perfect ending.
These were also the feelings of Mrs. Huong and her husband when welcoming their firstborn daughter on June 8th 2019 at Hong Ngoc IVF Center. The baby named An Nhien is her ultimate treasure after the two long hard years of searching. Talking about the meaning of her little girl’s name, Mrs. Huong shared: “I named her An Nhien, wishing her a lifetime of joy and peace”.
The journey “searching” for baby of Mrs. Huong and her husband started after a half year of marriage with many failed attempts at conceiving. Examined at the hospital, Mrs. Huong collapsed to the news that she had polycystic ovary syndrome and two stuck fallopian tubes. With this condition, the only solution to have a baby is in Vitro Fertilization (IVF). However, this method is extremely expensive.
Mrs. Huong and her husband were depressed and disappointed to receive the news from the doctors. But with the burning desire to have a baby, they put aside the negative feelings to work hard and save money for it.
At the beginning of 2018, with a modest saving, they resolved to do IVF at a hospital. The process of ovulation retrieval proceeded smoothly but the results were not as expected. All 5-day embryos stopped growing. Upset and discouraged, they were about to give up.
Yet, right at that moment, hope sparked one more time. Through a friend in a group for infertile couples, she learned about Hong Ngoc IVF Center – one of the most prestige addresses for infertile treatment. Her family was consulted by doctors about prehistoric embryonic history as well as the possible risks when transferring fresh embryos. At last, they decided to freeze all of the embryos and wait to transfer in the frozen embryo cycle.
After 2 cycles, the embryo was successfully transferred on September 22nd 2018. For Ms. Huong’s family, 14 days later seemed to be a year of waiting. The waiting was finally paid off when they received the positive result of the pregnancy test on the very first try.
With a little fetus growing inside her, each and every passing day was filled with much joy and happiness. Day by day, feeling the growth of her baby, she finally understood why people always said “Motherhood is the best experience of a woman’s life”.
After months of pregnancy, her sweet baby girl was born on June 8th 2019 in the exhilaration and excitement of the family and the whole team of doctors and specialists at Hong Ngoc IVF Center.
“June 8th 2019 was the happiest day of my life. Holding the baby in his arms, my husband couldn’t fight back the tears of happiness while I was too stunt to even believe the truth that I had a baby.
