On 12 June 2019, Hong Ngoc General Hospital has warmly welcomed the delegation of Committee on Health care, the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic to Hong Ngoc IVF Center – the leading European-standard IVF center in Vietnam.
Leading the delegation was Mr. Vojtech Filip – Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. Other members included Prof. Vera Adamkova – chair of Committee on Health care, Mr. Kamal Farhan – Head of Subcommittee on Healthcare Economy, Pediatrician Daniel Pawlas – Head of Subcommittee on Medicines Policies, Sensible Use of Farmacology and Instrumentation, Obstetrician Miroslav Janulik – Vice Chairman of Committee on Health care, and Mr. Vitezslav Grepl – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in Vietnam.
From the side of Hong Ngoc General Hospital, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Vinh – Chairman of Hong Ngoc Group, Dr. Tu Duc Sac – Deputy Director of the hospital, Dr. Ivan Reich – Director of Hong Ngoc IVF Center and the hospital’s specialists welcomed the delegation in this visit.
Delivering his speech in the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Vinh introduced the delegation with Hong Ngoc General Hospital’s current development and its plan of launching the 3rd branch in middle of 2020. The 500-bed new hospital is established in a total area of 28,000m2. With the large scale of modern hospital in the near future and the highly qualified medical staff, Mr. Vinh expected Hong Ngoc General Hospital to meet the increasing demand for medical services of people living in Hanoi and surrounding areas.
Regarding Hong Ngoc IVF Center, Dr. Ivan Reich shared that the center was established under the cooperation of Hong Ngoc General Hospital and Gyn Vietnam Company for the motto of “offering services by European standards of quality at affordable prices for Vietnamese.” The center brings together a team of experienced Vietnamese and Czech specialists and has been equipped with modern devices and facility imported from the EU. The laboratory boasts several machines and devices which have not been popular in Vietnam such as multi-room incubator, time-lapse incubator for constant embryo monitor, multi-spot laser machine for assisted zona thinning, and more.
Sharing about the first success of Hong Ngoc IVF Center, Dr. Reich excitedly said “Although it has just been launched, the center is always considered one of the leading IVF centers in Vietnam. Numerous complex cases have been solved by the team of Hong Ngoc IVF Center, bringing happiness to infertile couples.”
In response, Ms. Vera Adamkova, Chair of Committee on Health care, congratulated Hong Ngoc Hospital and doctors of IVF Hong Ngoc Center for their achievements in recent years and believed that Hong Ngoc IVF Center would further develop as the leading reproductive center in Vietnam. She also encouraged the medical team of Hong Ngoc IVF Center to make more efforts in their work so that patients would always think of the center as a high-quality medical unit.
In her discussion with Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Vinh, Ms. Adamkova expressed her expectation of medical cooperation between the Czech Republic and Hong Ngoc General Hospital. She suggested that Hong Ngoc General Hospital could be the bridge connecting the two countries’ modern healthcare sectors, offering benefits to people and the society.
After the intimate meeting, the delegation of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic paid a short visit to Hong Ngoc IVF Center – the leading European-standard IVF Center in Vietnam.
The visit of the delegation of Committee on Health Care, the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic is set within the framework of their mission to research and implement a social-medical cooperation plan between Vietnam and the Czech Republic. Hong Ngoc General Hospital is glad to be chosen as one of their stops in this mission, which states the position and quality of Hong Ngoc General Hospital in general and Hong Ngoc IVF Center in particular as well as opens new opportunities for health care cooperation between the two parties in future.
